Pale medium colour. Fresh nougat, apricot, nectarine, honey aromas with orange peel notes. Richly concentrated and supple with lovely viscosity, lacy textures, some bittersweet notes and fresh quartz-like acidity. Very well balanced with lovely complexity and mineral length. 94% Semillon 5% Sauvignon Blanc 1% Muscadelle
94-96/100 The Wine Cellar Insider, Jeff Leve
Flowers, pineapples, mango, apricot and candied lemon notes get the wine going. The palate, with its layers of sweet, ripe and overripe, honeyed yellow, and orange fruits is fresh, long, intense, balanced, and most importantly, delicious! And isn't that the purpose of a wine? Drink from 2025-2055.

The terroir advantage of Barsac shines through in the hot 2022 vintage, with such a delicate mouthfeel that is rarely seen throughout the Sauternes region. The pure and abundant fruit aromas interweave into a rich and full-bodied melody, with notes of peach and orange marmalade as the leading roles. When swirling the glass, the hints of acacia honey and lily flower become apparent, as if they were accompanying melodies surrounding the main theme. Despite not having an outstanding acidity, there is no sense of heaviness. With age, it may evolve into a rich and sweet flavor similar to that of the 2003 vintage.

Tempting dried fruit here with spice and floral character. Full and creamy with attractive acidity and a textural finish.
93/100 Decanter
Bight and fun, a lovely easy, clean and sleek texture, quite straight with focus and a sense of cool freshness on the palate with some soft bitter edges that are so appealing. Has a great frame, slowly expands, not so overtly sweet or zingy, but this is refined and well delivered, still with concentration in the depth and overall long length. 158g/l residual sugar. 3.88pH.
92/100 Jane Anson
Luscious and sweet, sticky dates and crème caramel flavours, balanced by orange zest and lime. There is interest and contrast here, but even at this exceptional Barsac estate, owned by the Baly family, it is hard not to crave a little more lift.
