År for år løfter Lynch-Moussas kvaliteten i samarbejde med superstjernen Dr. Axel Marchal, der trods sin unge alder allerede har markeret med en doktorgrad i ønologi, et professorat ved universitetet i Bordeaux og ikke mindst med titlen som ”Decanter Rising Star”. 2022 er endnu et historisk højdepunkt i slottets mere end 150 år som Grand Cru Classé. "The nose shows its tobacco leaf, cedar, lead pencil and currant side with a single swirl. On the palate, the wine is soft, polished, and fresh, with black raspberries, currants, licorice ,and most importantly, sweetness, and lift to the red berries as well as a nice licorice accent on the back of the finish. Give it a few years in the cellar before pulling a cork, and it will be even better. The wine blends 74% Cabernet Sauvignon with 26% Merlot. 14% ABV. 3.7 pH. The harvest took place September 8 - September 27. Drink from 2026-2050."

"Smoky dark fruits and leafy tobacco are just some of the notes in the 2022 Château Lynch-Moussas, a medium to full-bodied, nicely balanced, beautifully layered Pauillac. The tannins here are ripe and polished, and it has plenty of mid-palate depth as well as outstanding length. It's a seriously good wine, if not the finest I've tasted from this château. It's clearly in the same ballpark as the 2018, 2019, and 2020."

This is excellent, if not perhaps with the softness and refinement of tannins of the truly great. But a wine that will age gracefully and express very well its Pauillac typicity. 92-94."

"Château Lynch-Moussas 2022 is a vibrant Pauillac, with a soft and creamy texture that I believe makes it one of the best vintages in its history. The toasty aromas of oak barrels are more subdued than before, delicately adorned with violet scents and a touch of elegance. The tannins are as silky as threads, with a powdery texture on the aftertaste. The hints of licorice, graphite, and star anise on the finish cleverly enhance its complexity, highlighting the depth of this venerable Pauillac winery."
