”93-95 points. Juicy, complex, ripe berries…” - Falstaff
"94 points. Showcases the talent and hardwork done at the estate for the past 15 years." - Decanter
“Vintage quality Pomerol 2020 - “Excellent (legendary)”. For Pomerol, the 2020 vintage was nothing short of exemplary, and many consider it to be one of the finest-performing appellations of the 2020 Bordeaux vintage.”

93-95/100 Falstaff
“Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate brightening of the edges. Dark berry fruit, gently underlaid with spices and precious wood, a hint of nougat, delicate of orange zest. Juicy, complex, ripe berries, delicate like fresh plums, ripe tannins, good freshness, mineral aftertaste, chocolatey touch in the finish, good length, sure development potential.”
94/100 Decanter
"Blackcurrant, milk chocolate and floral scents - lovely expression, alive and forward. Stylish and compelling, this hits the mark straight away, bold and tangy, with a sharpness to the fruit profile from high acidity. Tannins give a layered effect with detail and precision and you can feel the sculpting. Juicy and alive, there's great energy and charm, upfront and forward, shining out of the glass. Generous and almost sweet but then straightens and tightens on the finish, giving a tongue scraping clean element with salty, minerality, liquorice and oak spice. The 2019 is more cool and classic, but this will appeal to all. Showcases the talent and hardwork done at the estate for the past 15 years."
94/100 Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
"Roses, violets, flowers and spicy kirsch notes pop in the perfume. As good as the nose is, on the palate, the wine is even better with its silky, sensuous approach. The perfectly ripe, plums and cherries offer a depth of flavor, opulent textures and a richness to the finish, along with freshness, that holds your attention making you want to take another sip. This is the best vintage of La Pointe I have ever tasted."
94/100 Markus Del Monego MW
”Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Fragrant nose reminiscent of ripe plums, juicy blackberries and ripe elderberries, elegant vanilla and mild spices, hints of violets and wisteria in the background. On the palate well structured and balanced with velvety tannins, fine toasting flavour backed by fresh and succluent fruit. A very charming La Pointe with potential.”

“(74% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Franc, 14.5% alcohol) Wow, this wine literally jumps out of the glass in the nose, it is a wonderful perfume, beguiling, with many floral notes, violets, white lilies, to dip into. The palate is soft and smooth, fine tannin structure, very nice acidity, extremely crunchy fruit, delicate, perfectly ripened and in very good harmony with the structure, that has draw, juiciness and precision. Long-lasting, balanced finish. Together with the 2018, this is perhaps the best La Pointe I've tasted so far. Very nicely done!”

"The nose is fruity, creamy and elegant. It presents airiness in its creaminess. We perceive notes of creamy blackberries, bright blackcurrants and small notes of bigarreau cherries associated with touches of violet as well as fine touches of crunchy berries and hints of chocolate vanilla. The palate is fruity with juiciness, freshness and delicacy. There is tanginess with good definition and airiness in its creaminess. There is accuracy and some fatness with notes of creamy cassis, blackberry and faint blueberries associated with touches of fresh wild strawberries as well as a hint of fresh creamy blue berries as well as hints of fresh nutmeg, racy minerality and a hint of chocolate. Good length, lovely freshness and minerality, gourmandise. There is a certain purity in the mouth."

"The 2020 La Pointe has a well-defined, quite mineral-driven bouquet that opens nicely in the glass. Black cherries, raspberry and subtle violet scents, gaining intensity with aeration. The bottle opened at the château with Eric Monneret shows more graphite/pencil lead elements. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, linear in style, fresh with a vibrant saline finish. I appreciate the manner in which it fans out. Subtle but satisfying, this is a sophisticated Pomerol that adroitly expresses its sense of place. "
93/100 James Suckling
"This is spiced and toasty with notes of blackcurrants, plums, roasted spices, cedar, violets and grilled herbs. Full-bodied with plush, velvety tannins and a rich and succulent dark fruit character. Firm finish with hints of chocolate and wet stones."
92-93/100 Terre de Vins
91-93/100 Robert Parker
” Deep purple-black in color, the 2020 La Pointe offers up notes of baked black and red plums, cherry preserves and fresh blackberries, plus wafts of crushed rocks, underbrush and black truffles. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of ripe black fruit flavors, supported by ripe, rounded tannins and a lively backbone, finishing long and earthy.”
