94/100 James Suckling
"Exuberant and rich with so much fruit and richness. Layered and almost exotic. Full-bodied, chewy and very dense."
94/100 Houlberg
"5,5 Thumbs Up. 94 point."
93/100 Wine Enthusiast
"This is a juicy, fruity wine that's supported by dark fruit tannins. The black currant fruits are bright and crisp, while the structure is firm and the finish lignering."
93/100 Decanter
"A good quality wine that is well extracted and not overly pushed. It falls below the excellent 2016, but this is a lovely rich and alive Pauillac that has fresh, flexible tannins and lots to enjoy. It’s not overly exuberant at this stage but it’s clearly full of potential. 50% new oak."

"Showed a lot of oak and fruit... well-made, fine complexity, structure and length."
92/100 Vinous
"The 2015 Pédesclaux offers attractive red fruit laced with cedar, tobacco and autumn leaves on the nose, gently unfolding with aeration to reveal violet scents. The nicely balanced palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, a fresh bead of acidity and a lilting tobacco and cedar infused finish. Very fine and one of the most approachable Pauillacs. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting."
92/100 Robert Parker
"The 2015 Pedesclaux is a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot. It has a pure and fragrant bouquet with incense, violet and iris all permeating the dark cherry and boysenberry fruit. As I noted from my review in barrel, it is not a huge nor powerful Pauillac, but it offers a disarming silky smooth texture, crisp acidity and a rounded, caressing finish that implies it will be more approachable than other Pauillac wines. This is a finely made Pédesclaux to enjoy over the next 15 to 20 years. Anticipated maturity: 2020 - 2035."
92/100 Decanter
"A more generous interpretation of the vintage at Pédésclaux, not as tight through the mid-palate as many from the appellation at this early stage, with violet reflections and a firm but fresh body of cassis, tobacco and slate. There's a lovely dash of spice from the Petit Verdot - the 2015 vintage is the first one where they are using this grape in the blend. Good, medium term drinking from director and winemaker Vincent Bache-Gabrielsen"

92/100 Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
"It's so young, yet you already find some secondary development. Truffle, cigar wrapper, smoke and forest leaf share top billing with the black currants. The tannins are soft, there is a sweetness to the fruit along with a roundness in the mouth. At least 7 years of aging will be about right here."
92/100 Falstaff
"Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate rim lightening. Delicately underlaid with tobacco, black wild berry fruit, some cassis, tobacco nuances. Juicy, round and harmonious, subtle tannins, peppery spiciness on the finish, ripe heart cherries on the finish, already drinkable."
92/100 VV Wine
"Mature ruby red. Floral nose, finely scented, shows some blood oranges and sour cherries in addition to cassis. Accessible and mild on the palate, round, ripe tannins, fine acidity, the fruit has ripened to the point, the wine has a wonderful drinking window. Long, delicately spicy finish."
